Fees
Spread Only
Plus500 is compensated for its services through the “market spread”.

Unlike other service providers who also charge commissions on each trade, Plus500 does not charge dealing commissions.
Premium
If you hold a position open after the close of business until the following trading day, you have technically held it overnight, which must be funded. A funding premium is either added (for short positions) or subtracted (for long positions) to your account to cover the benefit/cost of the associated funding. The Premium Time (time of market close) for each instrument is shown under the details tab.

To view the funding premium and “% per day” for a specific instrument, go to the main lobby screen, select the instrument required and press details on the far right of the row.

Note: if a position is opened on a Friday and held overnight until the following Monday , the next trading day, the amount added or subtracted for the funding premium to an account is usually three times the daily amount to cover the entire weekend period.
Inactivity Fee
A fee of 5 USD will be levied should your Trading Platform remain unused or dormant for a period of three months. This is to offset the cost incurred in making the service available, even though it may not be used.
